Dear fellow Armenians,

As we have informed, the Ministry of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia is organizing the First Pan-Armenian Forum of Lawyers. The aim of the Forum is to record and consolidate the potential of Armenian lawyers around the world, develop consistent and effective mechanisms for lawyers’ involvement in domestic life of the Republic of Armenia and create a Pan-Armenian Association of Lawyers.

The issues to be discussed during the forum include issues of Pan-Armenian significance such as the resolution of regional conflicts, international recognition of the Armenian Genocide, as well as preservation and protection of Armenian cultural heritage abroad.

We have already received nearly 40 applications for participation from the USA, Argentina, Canada, France, Spain, the Russian Federation, Ukraine, Iran, Syria, Lebanon and the Republic of Armenia.

We would like to remind you that the deadline for submitting applications for participation is September 1, 2009.
